I had this idea in mind before I was even matched with someone. I experimented with some applique quilting in college, and I wanted to go back to that in badge form. I like the idea of a soft, flexible badge that you can romp around in that won't be damaged by being squished, or bother your chest. It is made from assorted fat quarters and this two-sided iron-on adhesive stuff. (Pellon EZ-Steam II) I did a chain stitch of a decorative thread to match the EL wire in the suit head. TOTALLY doing this next round! (If the next person will let me >_>)

To Acid: I'm sorry it took so long! XD I was working on it on my off hours. I kept adding more and more hand embroidery. I like embroidery ;_;. I know you wanted a theme, so the back of it has a candy print. Also! It is somewhat UV reactive! The blue lights up like crazy, and the yellow's spots glow, too. I painted some glow in the dark paint over the lettering, so that lights up pretty good. The ring I put in the grommet is a little crappy, so you might want to replace it.
