Foxene just needed to step away for a moment; the arrival of the troops brought great excitement to the village and the celebration just didn’t seem to end. Clover Island had been untouched by the war so far so the whole island almost turned into a sanctuary over night for troops of all species. It brought great revenue, but it was way too much for Foxene...she missed the quiet days and nights her island had to offer. She had one last trip to make to the town though. She forgot a few essential items. While she was leaving the town general store she wasn’t looking where she was going and stumbled right in the middle of some soldiers and their captain. Whereas the soldiers all laughed and made their lewd comments of “watch where you’re going wench!!" and “serves ya right “the general put a halt to their rude antics with one glare. Foxene took this opportunity to slip away. Lost in thought, she had no idea she was being followed. right outside of town, Foxene was following the river back to her hidden forest home when she heard a voice ask her to stop " Please stop, I do want to apologize for my men" A bit shocked Foxene answered, " it's alright, I’m used to it by now...being a brown fox and all...you know...the whole 'servant or whores of the race' kind of thing" The Soldier thrown a bit by her comment gave her a strange look. “Well as you can see I happen to be half dragon and as you probably can assume I have also been treated with prejudice. We rise above it. I can see that you are a wonderful beautiful fox, and you have strongly caught my eye." And with that he took her hand and kissed it. "you are just perfect the way you are and I would be honored if you would accompany me to the celebration of the troops tonight" still very shocked Foxene answered" I,...I would love to...."
