I read the books, then learned about the show. And I couldn't bear watching more than one episode, ugh! the books are so much better.
If you can get the audiobooks, the are read by James Marsters(Spike from Buffy) and he really makes the books come alive.
And the Boob fairy mentioned in the book, was just a joke by the girl, though Harry did wonder for a second before realizing it.
