I went hiking again today with my dog and it is the most amazing place. It's a huge nature preserve down the street from where I live. The past couple of days I've been out exploring the trails, going a little farther each time. I love adventuring in this new territory. It's so peaceful up there. All you hear is the wind and the occasional bird chirping. It's the perfect place to go clear my head.

Next time I'll bring a backpack full of supplies so we can go farther in. It would be nice to spend the entire day out there sketching the scenery with my dog by my side. I'm going to go back tonight with a friend to drink coffee and watch the stars.
