I know your face. My heart is full of joy.
Don't be afraid, come with me. Come near the fire, my love.
I love to see your eyes shine when you laugh.
My heart shall weep until I see you again.
Farewell, I must go. Have joy and laughter.
Release me, my lord, until next we meet.
Find joy, my lord, have happiness and mirth.
I must embark. Sweet dreams, my love.

ashleyserena has the -perfect- voice to sing Sindarin! Instant faved, even before listening, the quality known from the moment the post went up! Don't just listen, -FEEL-!
This piece and its artwork has left me in tears, it is so hauntingly beautiful. How do you do that, foxy? How do you and your accompanying musicians make music that is so intensely beautiful? A single "fave" is not enough for this piece. Just....wow. Thank you for making the music you do. *hugs*
While I hate using the phrase, since it rates close to "epic" in annoyingly overused descriptors, I have to say this song is hauntingly beautiful. And wow! Great touch with the elvish lyrics! I love elvish, it has such a beautiful sound, it's unfortunate you don't hear it in more music.
ashleyserena has a positively angelic voice! I keep coming back to this piece for her voice. =^.^=
I return to this piece, from time to time. It never grows old, it is never belaboured.
ashleyserena has the voice of an angel. And when sung in the tongue it is, a language literally designed by Tolkien to be a 'romance language' that is, to flow more naturally beautiful. Well, the end result speaks for itself. Magical, ethereal, touching, moving, even raw, all fit it. And for many of us, cathartic. To properly mourn, and move forward, with memory to guide us, is important. There is a part, in this piece, where you can hear it in her tone, she is smiling. "Find joy, my lord, have happiness and mirth." It is what I, and I am certain, many others, have needed, at one point or another in our lives. It always leaves me with the most profound sense of peace, where there was only sadness before. Not sure if I've put these words together for this piece before, as often the words of the heart are more complex than I feel can be expressed thusly. But, thank you. Thank you a thousand times over, to all who worked on this piece, to all who laboured over it. It is beauty and peace, all wrapped into one.
