I drew this for my friend Jack who works at JPL when the bigger Martian Rovers were slated for launch. It just amused me that the standard set up for all the American Martian Rovers at the time had six wheels. Marvin the Martian is weird enough, but as a Centauroid, he's even stranger. (Gads! Imagine his walk cycle!)

One cartoon with Marvin had an amazingly plausible depiction of a pulsed inertial confinement fusion rocket engine... Considering the Top Secret Q Restricted status of ICF at the time, I presume that it was either coincidence or ESP. Did you know that Alfred Hitchcock got into a lot of trouble during World War II when he made a Nazi spy movie where the bad guys were trying to get their hands on uranium?
I like him even better this way!
