My dear Canadian friend Bonnie who hails from Toronto sent me a T-shirt from the "Fox and Fiddle" Pub from somewhere in the downtown area. Reading the shirt, I was reminded of an English Pub that adopted a fox cub as it's "Mascot." Foxes being the curious creatures they are, this image popped up in my head.

Way over on the west coast here in BC outside Vancouver we have a Fox and the Fiddle as well. The artwork for the fox though seems to be done old english style.
Also another place called the Frog and the Frikin pub here as well... but what is a Frikin?
Foxes seem to get into everything out here.. including a radio station called 'The Fox' which I listen to a lot.. Hmmm.... ;P

Oh.. right. Though.. looked up the meaning myself, they sure did come up with quite a few types of measurements for things. Not to meantion the names..
Wonder why they named the figher a Firkin if the meaning means 'a quarter of something'... It looks pretty snazzy though, like something from Macross :)
