Obviously, the lovely duo you see don't belong to me; they're our school mascots, the Blue Raider and his three-legged horse that doesn't have a name but I've taken to calling "Headshot" :I

that was obvious from our 0 wins last year, so I think our horse needs his leg back :I
But in all seriousness, I think the designer just got lazy and said "Screw it, I'm not drawin' that leg, I'll make up something clever!"
