[5/29/06] On our way back from IL for the weekend we decided to take the scenic route through La Crosse, WI and up the MN side of the Mississippi River. It was hot and still and the summer thunderstorms were a-brewing. We stopped at a little nature area to walk the dogs before the rain hit and I caught this picture of mammatus clouds in the approaching cloud shield.
