Not sure if anyone noticed, but I posted this cat head a few days ago, then pulled all the submissions a few hours later.

I had posted it without being happy with it, which I shouldn't have done. Then someone came along and pointed out the exact two things that were bothering me. At which point I realized if I sold something that I didn't feel accurately represented myself I would really regret it, and pulled down all the links.

So, here's the revamp. Totally new eyes and ears.

Painted the backs of the eyes this time, so no bubbles in any glue, and I used iridescent paints and spent some time improving my eye painting techniques. They catch the light beautifully, it's like they glow. Also fixed the stare problem by moving the pupils down and to the centre a bit. I've never worked with such large eyes, you really can't just stick the pupil in the middle with these!

Ears were redone, insides are white fleece with pink and grey airbrushing, much less stark colouring than before, and even better, these ears actually have shape to them, instead of looking so flat.

So, tl;dr: Don't be afraid to redo things you aren't happy with, critique is good, and now this head is way better. Success!
