This is Oma the gray wolf. He is old and wise, and has trained many pups to hunt and survive in the wilderness around them. Oma may be old, but he is also caring and compassionate - when he isn't teaching this years' pups to hunt he can be found howling with his pack, teaching them to sing.
Oma is 100% Hand Made, One Of A Kind. He is a medium-sized doll being roughly 6 inches long, fully-posable including his tail and ears, has hand-sculpted face and feet made of Sculpy with no molds (so you know he is One Of A Kind), and specially-needle felt so that he has real-textured fur.
Oma will be for sale at the Country Workshop Artists 27th Biennial Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Sale on October 18 and 19 in Troy, OH along with many other needle felt creations from Redolfi's Fiber Fantasies. If you live in the area it will definitely be worth checking out! I will be selling alongside over 50 other local artists and craftspeople.
I am OPEN for commissions for dolls like this one, so if you are interested e-mail me at thewoylven(at)gmail(dot)com!

I'm glad you like him!
Haha! It's been so long since I took German in Highschool that I had totally forgotten that Oma means Grandma - thank you for reminding me! *giggles* Language (and my lack of memory) can be funny sometimes ;)
As a side-note, I was inspired for the name for this doll by this website: http://www.native-languages.org/bla.....ot_animals.htm According to the site "ómahkapi'si" is the Blackfoot word for "wolf". I shortened it to make it easier to pronounce, but in doing so I kind of changed the "meaning" of the name a little ;)
