Another pilot episode update!!

The Peter & Company Animated Series Bible is a sketchbook, a couple hundred pages thick or so, which is gradually being filled with design notes, sketches, and animation references for each character and element of the P&C universe. This will be used as a textbook for the animators on the pilot and later animated series.

One of the challenges from translating a comic to animation is consistency; in a comic you can get away with variations in characters from panel-to-panel, but in animation it is more noticeable. So everything has to be streamlined so that the animators’ fingers and brains don’t spontaneously combust.

Rather than group/crop all of the pages together into one jumbled image (or waste space with six individual submissions), I decided to post them to the P&C Production Tumblr. So click here to view it! I will be posting additional pages as previews/updates as time goes by, too!
