Chapter 9 of Werewolf Tale
The moment Alex was dreading arrives, and brings with it the lesson that a curse rarely plays by dependable rules.
Probably one of my favorite chapters in this story, for multiple reasons. It's the crossing of the threshold for one, even though things have been happening well before this point. (And I made a misquote last time; this chapter was the one mentioning the DC reboot. Oops.)
