It's a goal of mine to have detacheable horns on my Fursona's head for ease of storage when travelling ect.
So I went to my local fabric shop to pick up some Huge Snap Button fasteners.
When I got home, I took some epoxy glue (the type with two different liquids that you have to mix yourself) and I stuck the two 'female' ends into the base of each of the horns that I ordered from
.I then placed the 'male' equivalents of the snap buttons into the super placeholder bases for the horns made out of cheap dollar store clay. (Soooo placeholder you have no idea!)
The grip is surprisingly good, but I aim to still have the base has sturdy 'walls' to prevent any possible wobbling.
Originally, I was going to place the horns horizontally but I talked to my mom about the design and she pointed out that when I look straight at people (for pics and the like), nobody would be able to see my horns.
This picture is just an example of what the end product will look like.
The base for the horns will be made with Epoxie Putty instead of cheap dollarama clay.
Thanks for readin'!
