Interesting fact: Vic Tokai used same game engine for Decap Attack, Phycho Fox and atrocious Kid Kool.
Same mechanics but such different games.

Ahh yes, good ol' Decap Attack starring Chuck D. Head.

When I bought this (or rather, when my mom bought it for me, I was a kid at the time, way back in the 90s), I didn't know it ran off the Psycho Fox/Kid Kool engine. But when I played, I thought "Hey, it's kinda like Psycho Fox/Kid Kool - only better! No one-hit deaths! You can actually backtrack!"

Good times.

The hearts really made this game more bearable to play, as hard as it is. When I saw the other version it was like 'this's damn impossible!'
It's like a game hack, but much much better. Music, graphics (well, the backdrops are kind meh, but I like the goofy monsters).
It's a shame it's been forgotten to the wayside. It had a pretty cool concept, good powerups, fun way to move about (the slipping is a lil nuts, but the float is nice).

Who knows. It might happen. We got a god damn Super Frog HD now.

Ahh yes, the old Looney Tunes "Look shocked at the player, then quickly run in place in the air trying to get back to solid ground" bit. Laughed when I first saw it.
