Haha I was thinking that too while drawing it. Kept thinking, "This is so DBZ," haha. Think it's the color scheme (Freiza) and the style of the eyes (very Toriyama).

The shoulder plates are a nice touch too. I did my 'sona's to look a bit like saiyajin armor, and the shoulder plates on this form have a lot of the same effect.

Even though Mewtwo Y was seen in the trailer of the new pokemon movie I say X is cool, too.
But let's vote: anyone reading this which Mewtwo is better Mewtwo X or Mewtwo Y?

X Looks cooler, however Y will be better stat wise for most Mewtwo Movesets.

Although the Mewtwo I got from Heartgold uses physical based psychic moves, and his stats reflect that so that Mewtwo would do well as Mega Mewtwo X!

I don't like the idea of Mega Evolutions as a whole, but X was designed way better than Y in my opinion, and looks more like a Mewtwo "should" in comparison.

(Also it's nice to see Mega Mewtwo fanart that doesn't have him getting molested by Red Genesect.)

I'm kind of ambivalent about mega evolutions too - I think I'd prefer just having a 4th evolutionary line. But some of the new designs are very cool. :)
