Well, I'm off to yet ANOTHER series of eye appointments. This time, though, I am going armed with the above featured document. It is my hope that in sharing this with my cornea specialist and glaucoma specialist that little ones with visual disabilities may be able to know there is hope for them and that there are heroes to whom they can positively relate to.
Aside from that, cross your fingers with me that my cornea is still blister-free and that my IOP (Inter Ocular Pressure) is within a safe boundary. Truly, I can't take another trip to the eye specialists again anytime soon. It's expensive to go and, well, I'm out of Sick Leave and Vacation Time thanks largely to these appointments.

Thank you so much. I also hope the cornea specialist, who has kids herself, along with my glaucoma specialist, who is the head of the eye clinic, will see what I'm trying to bring to them to help give hope to children who were just like myself. However, unlike myself, we had no heroes to really look up to where, with you and Silly Filly, there are. :)
*Hugs* Hearing that means so much to me, TJ. I'm deeply afraid of eye appointments now and, after just being trolled on "FIM Fiction" am feeling a little unsettled. Your support here makes me feel extra happy.
