This is a one month old fawn skeleton of a white-tailed deer. She stands over 27 inches tall and is mostly complete. Though due to the way she was buried and retrieved, some of the pieces were lost and had to be built or reconstructed.
This fawn died of natural causes. She was found dead in a creek with tall vertical banks and I assume she fell into it and broke her neck. I do not promote hunting or killing of infant or adolescent animals, I only collect them if I find them in the wild.
