Age 5: Was your typical 5 year old boy. Happy, loving, playful and energetic, but most of all a mama's boy. :B
Age 13: After his parents' fatal accident, Jason became withdrawn. He was also picked on for having a gay uncle (who raised him for most of his life.)
Age 17: The teasing continued into high school where he eventually snapped and hospitalized a kid. From there, he was mostly avoided, but still occasionally got into fights. This was also around the time he started dating Des.
Age 25: Believe it or not, he's more "chill" around this time. He's still got a bit of a temper, but it's not as bad as it used to be. He can handle it better. Which is a good think, what with all the bullshit his friends, and even girlfriend put him through. :P (He's no different now than he would be in a year. Currently 24.)

Well, here are some tips.
Draw the eyes bigger.
Shorten the limbs, beaks/snouts/wings/crests
Obviously no muscle and give them noodle-ish arms and legs, depending on if they're skinny or even chubby.
Thicker and shorter fingers/claws.
And well, as they get older, do the opposite of all that.

I love these! Young Jason is so cute and current Jason is so handsome (and the iteration between). It'd be cool to see a middle aged and elderly Jason. Or an 75 year old Jason and Des together.
On a side note, 17 year old Jason looks a lot like on of my running mates from high school...

With very little fighting experience after much bullying in school by some hipster in the 7th grade I vertically pounded one good fist onto his head like da fuggin' Hulk would... right in front of a school security gal. Thank God my sister was heading home early due to a tummy ache and I was sent home with her before meeting the pricipal. I think I won. :3
