Alright so I'm not going to go on about how long this commission actually took, and no it wasn't because of the very detailed background, nope. Actually it was due to when I sketched the character I couldn't get the hand or the sword to look right. HOWEVER I finally managed to fix that. Ha ha. Finished another one. YES.
So apart from the shading on the shield, I'm actually very pleased by this. I don't know a lot about Legend of Zelda or the game play, so I grabbed some screenshots and threw them together for an idea to put as the background. And the shading of the character overall. Perfect fit for the background. :D I'm so proud.
But anyhow, this is a commission for
hvo45. I really hope you like it!
