Bust Comish - Ladies...
~~~
Part 2/3 of a commission set for
KodiByte , this part a detailed bust of his awesome dragon character again!
Heeeee, I love drawing busts, and I love drawing this guy, and I love how this turned out. XD He just looks so confident and cocky and full of himself and those are all synonyms and 'Laaadies...' I'm sorry, I couldn't resist, harharhar.
This also gave me an opportunity to work on a slightly different bust style - kind of a 'breaking the frame' style, while showing some of the shoulder and such. I love how it looks. *nods at fellow golden-yellow dragon*
Thanks again Kodi! Hope ya like!
This came out amazing! I love the 'breaking the frame thing you have going on and the finish on the piece is still something I am trying to figure out how to do...I have SAI (which I do most of my art in) and CS6 which I got from college and am still trying to learn how to use.
well, that explains why I was having some of the issues...I was just turning the background off. That does help on getting the transparent BGs on the Pngs. What about the finish on the picture... it looks like you used one of the filters, but I can never get them to look right...
Not sure how to describe it...almost like a faint grain to the picture that makes it look like a more diffuse light... I have tried various filters, but I don't know enough about those yet to make them look like I want them to in CS6 and I don't think SAI even has filters like that.
