serosly this is really good it's not your best work but those water based markers you are using are so hard to blend properly, you are way to hard on your self. i have learned more from you and your art than you will ever know.

I really wish I could get anywhere close to that with any traditional medium :<

Just takes practice, in time you could easily be much better than this :P

i like it. not the water so much but the forest is nice.

The water actually looks a lot better in the real one... but it was hard to do a good job either way, my tiny blue marker is pretty much dry =/

:3 I knew it would be a challenge with the markers, but I think it turned out pretty good. The background is great, and he has this "settling down after playing in the woods all day" look to him. The only thing I can see that's missing is the crimson streak in his hair. X3 I really do like it, though. Thank you! ^.^

Are you sure? ^^; I figured you were probably hoping for something a bit better than this...

Well let me just say, it looks noticably better in person than it does on here =/ The colours are a little less cartoony (a little) looking, and the fur is a bit better, but facts are pretty much I still suck with these markers. But this did help me get closer to being able to afford better markers if that's any consolation... that's what I'm putting this money toward ^^;

Oh, and I added the crimson streak after you said that, that was easy enough. So it's not missing anymore 83

It looks fine, the background isnt all bad either.

I was actually very impressed with the background. It's not über-realistic, but that helps keep the focus on the character instead of the trees. WIN!
