Meet my upcoming character, Rayus Solari, or just Solari for short. Gestated Sorcerer/Wilder.
His mother was part of The Cult of Sol in her late teenage years, it was more about teenagers being anti-authority than any elder evil crap. But one doesn't play with cults and elder beings from the outer black without paying the price. Her child was left on the steps of The Grand Cathedrial in the city of Leone.
He grew up much as any other orphan, dispite being the odd one in the room. Thanks to the monks of St. Xavin, orphans actually receive a better education than most children on the streets of Leone. Solari signed up with the millita for a year in his teens. It was in a skirmish with a nearby citystate that his magical bloodline manifested, setting one of the opposing soldiers on fire.
He spent the next four years trying to be trained in magic at one the Amythist Collage in the north, he was always an odd student, thinking from "weird angles" eventually getting himself drummed out of the collage for turning a teacher's arm into a tentacle during a heated debate. Part of his psinoic power as a wilder.
It was on the streets of Northlands cities that he slowly got the hang of his powers, and in the Asylum of Tordale that he mastered them. As he gained power, his alien blood mutated him to resemble the being who was summoned so many years ago.
These days he is a high powered adventurer who has embraced his heritage of the occult, the alien divine, and extra-dementional madness. He uses these powers to help and explore in the Northlands.
This is why the collage that drummed him out has asked him back to assist in exploring a dangerous underground temple they discovered.
He changes his back story, orientation, likes/dislikes, and minor personality traits on a whim, often breaking the fourth wall and confusing his fellow party members.
One thing that always remains the same is his obsession with astrology, his passion (which actually fuels his psionic powers of mutation and domination), and his good heart.
He uses his emotions as psionic power.
