The head was actually drawn several months ago when we lost power with that huge storm. I stumbled on the sketch and decided to turn it into a full picture.

Wow, that's very creative and beautiful! I've never thought of or seen a Dragon with a Cobra Hood like that. That's so cool and fitting. Also a great job on the desert background and making the dragon's colors fit his environment so well. I hope we see more of this dragon species!
Probably not, since I just did this as a one-shot sketch.
However... I have been considering auctioning off the rights to this dragon and the chlorophyll dragon that I did a few months back since these designs are just too cool to leave as one shot pictures and I'd like them to go to someone who will actually use and love them... sooo.... maybe it will be seen again in the future through someone else's hand.
