And another angle of the lycanthropy curse comes to light. This idea has been in a number of films and novels in the past, my favorite examples being early in The Abused Werewolf Rescue Group and the US version of Being Human, but it's often shown as just happening with no hint that it's coming or happening. Just that it did and now the afflicted human can smell things better.
And this is another heavy revision chapter from the NaNo original, mostly in the tone and mood of the piece and what the MC feels as he undergoes this change.
