Rosaline the felid lost her eyesight in an accident when she was very young. Though many felidae that suffer crippling injuries quickly become disposable— and are often culled, seen as a liability— she managed to escape this fate through the kindness and protection of Donald Demar.
Though Donald passed away while she was still quite young, his son, Stephen (who was also young at the time), insured that she remain safe and supported.
Presently, Rosaline assists Stephen in his daily work. Although, since Stephen works in a large library, there is not much that she can really do.
But for what she lacks in sight, Rosaline makes up for with sharp ears, a strong sense of smell, and a sharp mind. When she is not running easy errands for Stephen, ferrying messages and packages, she makes for an excellent conversationalist.
