So this tiger is meant to be a Sumatran tiger, but not so sure.
First the fur is the wrong colour as a Sumatran tiger has a deeper orange fur, and second they have removed his testis, so makes me think a hybrid.

zoos tend to say anything, knowing the general public cant tell the difference. i work at the memphis zoo lol

Yeah, sadly I go to plenty and can tell the different between the different tigers. Got one zoo near by that has many a hybrid tiger, which they say about and what species the parents were.
