My brother got married yesterday. We're Hindu Indians, so we had the appropriate ceremony (though since we live in the US, a majority of the people who came were caucasian and such, so it was interesting seeing Western Formal clothing clash with Indian formal clothing). In such ceremonies, the priest blesses fruit and other food in order to give out to anyone attending the ceremony. Since I was the younger brother, I was partially responsible for sharing the food.

Imagine my surprise when I saw that was given to me to take home. That's right: not only is pineapple my favorite fruit, but now it's blessed AND God(s) approved :D
