Oh man, I haven't uploaded many photos of this design. So here's another color combination for you all. This color combo makes me think of sooty clouds lit from below by unhealthy fires. Or if the dark side were closer to rust-color I'd maybe call it a fire truck rusting away.

This mask design is clean on one half, but the other side is cut through with more and more holes and irregular patches, like it's being eroded away or eaten by acid or rusting through.

I ended up making more copies of this design all at once than I had originally intended, because there was a big nasty patch on the sheet of leather I was cutting masks out of, and I was entertained by positioning the rotting-away half of the design on the nasty portion. And they turned out really beautifully. Or, nicely malformed. Something.
