Looks like a speed painting doesn't it? I know so many artists who could probably do this in like, 10 minutes. Wheras mine took me 4 hours, this is why I have envy issues lmao.

Anyway, so many of you will know due to my millions of journals that I had to resit two of my subjects a while back in order to get to my second year at University.

What's a resit you might ask? Well, it's when you fail and get a chance to try again. I failed Matte painting and CGI. This is the final piece I submitted for Matte painting, the brief was to paint an open landscape with signs of human civilization, so I chose to do an ice road cutting through the plains and an oil-rig type set up in the background.

I just can't believe I passed :') After finishing this I was quite confident with it, then slowly as the result date drew closer I started to doubt myself, as for my CGI resit work well, I doubted that from start to finish haha.

But, I did it!

Perseverance does pay off, I stopped being lazy and really knuckled down and the results opened the second gate to a hopeful future!
