Here's an action shot of the most recent tail commission I finished. It was starting to get dark when I was taking these photos, so a lot of them ended up with too much motion blur. But this one shows a little twitching swing down by the tip, which was cute. Since these tails aren't rigid, they swing and move in really nice and fluid ways.
What you can see on this tail is purple anodized aluminum. It has a stainless steel underbelly, plus engravings down the spine of the tail which are kind of subtle from a distance. It's woven together with stainless steel rings.
