You'd have been better off using either the gold or diamod body armor from Minecraft banks.

As of for gold, it's the 2nd worst armor in the game so you'd be even worse off then you would with diamonds as gold is too soft and heavy.

This reminds me of a Disney comic I read once! There was this supervillain (extremely fat) that was able to conjure sweets and pastries and use them as weapons. And in the end he was defeated when local school of Duckburg closed; all the children ran out and when they saw his abilities of conjuring sweets they started to attack him and the more that guy tried to defend himself the more the kids attacked!
