This heart-warming piece was done by
catmonkshiro who is a dear friend and very talented artist. I am filled with joy when I see this very familiar scene. While my little girl isn't quite old enough to appreciate me reading her a bedtime story, she certainly does enjoy the sound of my voice and the vibrant pictures in the book. This is one of the joys of being a father and my friend Shiro has captured this so beautifully and tenderly. Thank you, Shiro!

While cute, I must say. At first I thought this was a picture of Kim reading a story to Angie. I don't know why I just thought the legs were a little big for a male, then I saw the mark and was like "Wait.. Charlotte?"
Then I saw the like of a bust and realized my mistake. It's very adorable I love these pics of you and Angie. Especially here the way she's grabbing for the book because she wants to touch the picture.

*chuckles* I can see how this might look a little feminine. I guess we are all used to mother's holding their children and not so much fathers.
And Angie always tries to grab the book. IRL, she's actually more insistent about it!! If I'm not careful she'll rip the pages up in her enthusiasm!
