oh man, whether you would want to believe me or not, i actually tried sketching something pretty much exactly like this a few days ago. I used Pinkie, and basically the same exact pose. I like how you executed it more than how I managed to do it. At least you decided to finish it and post it. I wasn't too happy with my version either, and just got rid of it. :/

You'd finish your work, because you're an amazing artist, and we all could use seeing more of your stuff. And because you probably already spent some time in it, and time is one of the most important things...

This is a pretty fun drawing with our favorite, party pony. It kind of seems like she is in motion to me. Like she's doing a bit of a flip for fun. Perhaps entertaining the little Cakes?
There is a saying, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." This may not have come out like you wanted. However, your next effort will be better, and the one after that will be even better, and the improvement will only continue to get greater-and-greater as you sketch what makes you happy.
As you criticize your work, I invite you to go visit your very first post. After you look at it, look at this one. Even if this didn't come out how you wanted, you have to agree that it is a significant improvement since you first came here. :)
We all have works we wish could've been better. However, they are still steps towards making us better at what we love. The fact you cared to post this work says a lot and I am happy you are comfortable sharing both those works you are proud of and not-so proud of. Shows you are open to at least hear what people have to say rather than allowing that ever-pesky, inner-voice get in the way of your progress. :)
