Music Themed Artistic Freedom Commission for  VeauxKoszmar

So this was an AMAZING idea by the awesome Kosz, where he gave me full artistic freedom in creating a monster while I listened to Tubular Bells. I went through the entire song (which is about 50 minutes long) 2 - 3 times and came up with THIS! :D It's Kosz's now of course, but here was a little blurb I made about it and how it might possibly work:

"I figure this dude (or lady) is an ambush predator that lives in primarily dark places like caves. It uses bio-luminescence to attract prey, who when they walk up to see what the glowing lights are all about are promptly devoured. The "head" is actually a false head; the eyes are located on it as are the ears, but the mouth is obviously farther down on the bulk of the body. (Oh, and the eyes are the cavities that AREN'T glowing, since it'd suck to have hungry prey take a snap at the glowy bits and actually snag something important.) Its hands have three long claws (two fingers and a thumb-like thing) which it uses to press struggling prey into its mouth. It also uses the weight of its own body to shove victims far enough down its throat that they can't back out, usually by tipping forward and "sitting" with it's lips touching the ground. Oh, and as for digestion, think of it somewhat like a large snake... it doesn't need to eat very often, and when it does its body becomes really engorged and it lays stationary for a while afterwards."

I'm seriously toying with the idea of having egg adoptables where the winner provides musical inspiration (so a song or playlist) and then some keywords to go along with it, and I create a character for them. It would be really fun for me, but I'm not sure if anyone else would be that interested... we'll see if I ever do it. XD
