Sly was silent for a moment.
"Satchet..?" He said cautiously, pushing his fingers through the grate. "Hust- just hold on, alright? We'll try to-"
She cut him off with a word she spat out viciously as if it were poison.
"Cooper." Her eyes hadn't moved from the spot they were at before, though his had. "Sly Cooper."
Sly hesitantly confirmed who he was.
Her face contorted slowly into a menacing snarl. Her lips pulled back to reveal her teeth, her eyes widened further. He could practically hear her teeth gnashing.
"Cooper!" She snapped at his general direction. "Your fault I'm- YOUR FAULT!" Suddenly she started thrashing at the chains that held her hands above her head. She lunged at the sound of his voice. "COOPER! IF I FIND YOU I'LL KILL YOU!" Sly tore his hand back from the grate as angry guards from outside her cell old her to keep it down.
"Satchet! What are you-?"
"I'LL TEAR YOU APART YOU FILTHY SEWER RAT! I'LL MURDER YOU!!" The bonds were slicing open her wrists as she pulled and blood started to seep down her arms. She didn't seem to notice, and if anything, thrashed harder. Her voice rose until it was just inaudible screams, and she flung her head from side to side as if tearing something- he was sure she was thinking of him- apart. Foam and spittle flew from her wild maw.
"SHUT UP IN THERE!" A guard slammed the bars of her cell with his club, but she ignored him.
"Get out of there, Sly! If they see you it won't help her!" Bentley's voice crackled in Sly's ear and he crawled back as fast as he could, unable to look away from the look of his friend as guards poured into her cell and roughly tied her down, strapping her jaws together, abruptly silencing her.
Throughout this whole ordeal, she hadn't taken her eyes away from the grate.
Sly pulled his head out of the pipes and fled.
