Things are slowly heading towards Mesh, which is a good, and yet, a bad thing. Good thing, less prims, less rendered objects, less unseen yet rendered polygons.

Bad thing, Mesh female outfits, How am I supposed to be a femboy who cant where feminine outfits!

the reason mesh is so slow to implement is that SL's engine is so archaic and outdated. Bringing morphable mesh into it is a buttpain :/ That said, in one year or less it will probably be supported and then we will start to see REAL breakthroughs when it comes to mesh avatars and clothing. Right now it's in that weird limbo where everyone looks almost the same if they have mesh av's :c
