I wanted to make my own version of a Kelvin Class Light Cruiser. But, I decided it would be named in honor of the old Einstein Class Scout USS Kelvin (as such, the registry is NCC-514-A). And since she is of a cruiser sub-type, I wanted a single nacelle that would make more sense. The nacelle is now wider, to pack components of two nacelles into one frame.

Okay, then.
Of course the execution is excellent.
Now just imagine if this was the "upside-down Enterprise" that had appeared in WoK, instead of the Reliant...

The kelvin's design wasn't actually that new. There is a ship in the old starfleet technical manual with the same engineering hull, saucer and Nacelle configuration. IT is cool seeing a later tos era version of one. The one that was in the starfleet technical manual was stright up TOS era.
I think it's in there, i'm sure it is but i could be wrong.
Still cool ship :)

I based it on a kitbash seen here.
