A gopro still taken from the front of the raft as me and a comrade (Derek, or D-wreck as we call him on the river) drop over the edge of husum falls. Derek missed his grab, and is about to tackle me (elbow first) out of the boat. It's hilarious, because you can tell by my face that I still have hope that we might make it, and I don't realize what's coming. D-wrecks face indicates that he knows we are both about to go swimming. This is pretty similar to what happened when Sumanitu and I tried to run it, except I think I may have done what d-wreck did and body slammed Suma out of the raft. Normally my R2 runs go pretty well but the waterfall hasn't been particularly kind this summer. The water is about 38 degrees F by the way.
