My OC, Kendaman, doing the required kendama trick to activating the laser sword,
the required trick is called "Sekai Isshuu" / "Around the World";
First, catch the ball in the Small cup (Kozara),
from there catch it into the Large cup (Ozara),
then the middle cup / cup on handle base (Chuzara),
and then landing it on the Spike (Kensaki).

Here, I omitted Kendaman's jacket, and basically everything on his bodysuit to make it easier to animate.
I tried to put the designs in on his suit but it was too distracting and looked awful so it's best with solid, flat colors like this.
This has taken me...I have no idea. I was up until 2 am last night, and started again at 10 am, utnil jsut now, being 3 pm. so.
it took a whiille. It's not perfect, but now it gives you an idea of just what he has to do to activate the laser sword. Of course, he can do it in just one try.
It took me well over 20. xD
Otherwise he attacks enemies by swinging the kendama and hitting them with the ball, or tangling them with the string. y'know. jsut think of how you'd use a kendama as a weapon and that's how he uses it.

So. I finally got a new kendama, one that had the JKA (Japanese Kendama Association) seal! So I've been playing with it almost every day, I've only had it for about a week so I'm not especially great with it, but I did do this trick, since to do this animation, I recorded myself to use video reference. I can do all but land the ball on the spike. that's so difficult. OTL
