The Basimon are an aquatic race that have lived on Dyruus for a countless many centuries. Their past and evolution are a complete mystery to the other races of Dyruus. They literally appeared on land one day. Even the great Dragons don't know how long they have lived beneath the oceans. The Basimon are a completely neutrel race as well. They do not join in quarrels between the other races. They aren't completely uncombatent however. They do realize there are potential threats to their societies and have developed peace keeping "tools". Calling them weaponry would mean they could kill, but all Basimon "tools" are meant to protect themselves without doing harm to others. They do have simpler weapons that they use to hunt with, but they are never used for harming another creature out of anger or with the intent of murder. The Basimon are incapable of such acts, in their brains their is no violence trigger, they lack the emotion of anger and hate all together. They feel love, but faintly and not as most other races would.

The speculation of how long they have been a resident of Dyruus arouse when they first appeared. The Basimon are fully aquatic and coming onto land without water to breathe must mean they have technology. Their technology is based on their very living condition, the water. Any engine is built to use water as a fuel, and as a propulsion means when in water. Any machine is made to use water for its functions. Even computers are for the Basimon are highly advanced water cells they have engineered and are used widely in their technologies, especially on their spacial crafts. Basimon cities are widespread under the ocean depths, and are all built to accomodate the Basimon, any land-dwelling races will have to have Basimon travel to the cities for business in shops.


The lower left diagram is a small structural concept for their lighting. The large stalk is similar to street lamps and can get quite large in size. The small immature stalk is used for small walkway/hallway lighting as well as adorning the front of buildings by doorways similar to a porch lamp.
