Colours do look nicer on this one. Not bad on the posing either - it's a very tricky position to draw, and I didn't really do it all that well in the ref pic you used!
Interesting use of texture, though it's difficult to tell exactly what the texture is?

Thanks sir! :) Yeah, took me alot of erasures to get that to look decent. XD ^^; Really? I was assuming that it was one of your easiest pieces. Who knew a simple pose would be complicated to achieve?
Honestly, I'm not sure either. Haha, I just found a cross-hatched brush in my brush palette, so I tried to experiment on it. I'm doubtful on whether I should keep it or not. ^^;

Well I would avoid putting in a random texture just for the sake of having a texture. It needs to serve a purpose to make the object tangible. If the character is furry then you'll want something more akin to a furry texture.
And contrary to what some might think, almost none of my pieces are easy. A lot of poses are deceptively difficult, especially if there's a complex perspective involved, and almost all of my linework involves several days of referencing and sketching. I can easily spend two or three hours erasing and redrawing the same small part of a picture, so trust me, there's nothing easy about it.

Alright, noted! Luckily, I have more than 10 brushes in my brush pallete, so I'll just keep on experimenting! Thanks for the advice!
And yet you're able to pull off both perspective and pose drawings. Can't imagine how much time you took in perfecting that. :P Well, the fact that it takes you 2-3 hours to draw the same part of a picture, I guess this makes me feel a little more at ease. I have this thing where I really get something done under 2 hours. The result is always... whatever you call this. XD
