With their backs against the wall and the situation bleak, Paula sends a last-ditch psychic prayer to the world seeking support. Everyone whose lives the heroic children have touched hear the call and send their prayers of support. The sudden influx of positivity was the exploit the kids needed as Giygas appears to suffer from it greatly. With Giygas cornered and weakened the team launches into their finishing blows, vanquishing the intangible force of evil once and for all. Pokey evacuates when he realizes the jig is up, and speculates he may hide out in another era.

The conclusion was pretty satisfying. I love how it follows up the intensity of it's final battle by allowing you to craft your own epilogue on your way home, take your time, unwind and talk to old familiar npc's who have new final lines of dialog. You don't even have to part with your first npc partner Paula until you're ready. Oh and the music during the credits~ Good experience, this game.
It reminds me of the style of three different free comic magazines that were probably done by the same artist. Two were available at banks, where one of the two used to have stories about a brother and his sister and their pocket money. The third comic was available in dentist places and was about a bunch of kids, and the stories dealt with dental and other healthcare.
Mind you, they were free, but I liked their style, just like I like yours here.

Wow... this series of yours has been fascinating and beautiful to look at and experience. I've started Earthbound a couple times, but never got far in - I didn't allow myself the patience to really dive deep into the game. One thing this series has done for me is make me realize what I was missing by not playing this game. It seems like an incredible experience and a good example of a game being art and a deep story.
