So after creating the toon nose sculpt that was used on Terry the Toon, I decided to do some overhauls and revisions. This has resulted in what you see above. The nosetip is upturned and has more pronounced nostrils, the lower portion of the muzzle has been streamlined and simplified, and it has taken on a more dog-like appearance. This is fine as it is meant for the LeGueff brothers Larry and Gary, who are certainly toony canine fellows!
Below are links to earlier iterations of my Toon conceits. Feel free to peruse them!

The current nose is super-light, like literally a couple of ounces. Even with a denser foam it would be very light-weight.
I do have a desire to do a super-long ridiculous nose, say a foot long and very, very schnozzy. For something like that, hot foam latex should still be light enough to wear, though for more durability a cold foam latex version would also be fine, though a bit denser and heavier I'm sure. If done as a half-mask then that should be no issue at all.
Northfur FX (northfur.ca) has a few very long prosthetics, their horse/donkey face comes particularly to mind.

So it is certainly do-able! And believe me, I fully intend on pursuing a line of toony/weird noses to create and sell. The bug has bit me bad!

New lines: long, very long, insanely long! Noses that dare you to wear them! Because if you don't watch out, they'll wear YOUUUUU!
Yeah, this is getting really carried away. I'm getting addicted to schnozz! Damn you, furries, you've made this a THING!!!!
But yes, if you have a design you'd like realized I'd be glad to have your help!
