You know, since a portal would likely only magnify volume without effecting mass, expanding like this would mean you could step on someone and keep them under your foot without the risk of crushing them. :3

I prefer the “conservation of cool” principle, which of course is completely subjective. I.e., I’d prefer weight to scale with size, and to hell with physics.

Aw, but physics is fuuuuun! Like, how funny would it be if you tried to do that and give someone a ride on your back, only to have them pin you down because you're no more massive than you were before? XD But yeah, conservation of cool ain't bad. Just be careful if you plan on stepping on yourself, eh? ^.-.^

Though, it does make me wonder, what would happen if you grabbed yourself and lifted yourself up? Or pulled yourself through the portal? Would you become tiny? Would you even be able to keep your grip? So many bizarre possibilities to explore there!
