This was a lot of fun - I thought I’d share this directly because I reckon many have missed it.
I’m looking forward to doing more of these - maybe a little more savory next time ;)
Modelled in ZBrush and Blender
Oh, check her out in realtime 3D!

oh, no this is not the lowpoly. haha that would be a terrible lowpoly with that polycount
This is the hipoly screengrabbed from ZBrush. And no, they're not attached.
And the realtime thing is just the decimated hipoly.
This is the lowpoly

It's not really a pose meant for rigging either.
It was never intended to be rigged and moved in realtime,
it was created to be moulded in this pose.

ah, I wouldn't say it's good in the end. there's a lot of BS going on and a lot of pointless loops and extraordinary vertices... but it was also never meant to be used in realtime so I didn't really care that much.
Anyway, thank you though. AND THE HAIR is procedually remeshed, I didn't do a retopo for that, which is why it's quite high of polycount.

Yeah, Zremesher is definitely a great help, though it still needs some cleaning up and fixing.
And Blender is a godsend to me as well. I've gotten really used to it over the years, and I like it.
I'm trying to learn maya at the moment because my new employer wants me to use it for pipeline reasons, but so far I loathe it...
it seems unstable and it's missing a lot of features (or at least I've yet to find them in that cluttered mess of a UI....)
Good luck! ^_^

blender UI is the best , no doubt .
and yes, maya has it`s original old system makes it very highly active and easy to fix the worng i think
my teacher still teach us maya2009 because it is the most basic suftware he think:"When you truly understand the Maya, you can master all the 3d suftware..."
In anther way, i find out that`s so difficult to me to understand all the parameter and tooles in it , sotimes take me a longt time to make things just seem normal ...
but whatever,I like new stuffs and cool effectes while working, maybe 3d artist is more like programmer in the past i think

funny you should say that. I literally got nothing on you - or 99% of the guys on your faves.
Thanks for the kind words, tho - I'm humbled by them coming from someone as skilled as you.
As crappy as I am, I'm actually a 3d character and creature artist. been working in the games industry for 2 years.

Hah, you still got 2 years of industry experience on me, i just model a bit in free time.
I like that model, very clean, sharp edges. good balance of rest and detail areas, nice focus forms and silhouette.
You are definitively far from crappy, wish more people exercised such attention to form curvature.
