One of my all time favorite series of Giant Monster movies has to be the relatively recent Gamera Trilogy that came out in the 90's. It's one of the best series of giant monster films out there. I highly recommend seeing it.
So inspired by that series, I took one of Gamera's more memorable foes and re-imagined how I think he'd look if thrown into the 90's (aka: Heisei) Gamera series.
And trust me here, Guiron IS one of Gamera's more unique opponents. The guy had a freakin' KNIFEBLADE for a head that shot shurikens. :D
So basically here's my take on what he'd look like. Basically making him look a hell of a lot more meaner. Also redesigned the whole "shuriken launcher" concept as well, turning it instead into a sort of energy cannon... which shot "plasma stars."
Hope it looks good.

Hey I remember this guy !
Called him knife head back when I was a cub.
Granted this is his updated form I'm sure, but still.
Sitting in my PJ's in front of the ol' tube watching "Monster Movie Madness" complete with a host that said lame jokes before and after the ads.

Long before CABLE came around.
Now you have to wait for Sci-Fi to show them which is once in a blue moon.
I think cable made the folks who used to do that give it up thinking they'd be shown there regularly, it never seemed to happen as often as it did on the local stations 'round here.
Granted at first they had them on like "USA UP ALL NIGHT" or TBS in the afternoons on Sat / Sun only because they weren't these hugh deals back then, now they are in the same laegue as the networks and don't show them.
Kinda a shame really, oh well, I need to find these on DVD, it's just as hard as it was finding them on VHS, took me 10 years just to get all the 'zilla films on VHS, one here, one there, one someplace else, useually just the one copy of each film lost among all the other videos in the store.
