There is a bright side to life, though it may be hard to find past all the harsh troubles our world is currently going through. Yet, somewhere out there, beyond that dark...bitter horizon, all it takes is an opening of the eyes and you can see that beautiful world that exists all around you. Your eyes can be opened to the wonderous posibilities and the problems out there just don't seem as big as you thought they were. Sure there are times when it feels like were completely alone, nobody understands you and your left in the dark...but know this. There are at least 2 people I know of who are, and always will be, there for you...even if you can't see them.

One, is me. I'm always praying for each and every one of you wonderful, beautiful people!

Two is Christ the Lord. He accepts and forgives all, no matter your background or past sins. He's always right by your side. So when you think time's are hard and nothing good will ever happen again...that you should just give up, CHIN UP! I guarantee that with a little faith and a pursuit of seeking happiness, you will see a small shining light. Whether it be a simple kind comment or a friend, or maybe just the weather suddenly seems nice that day, it didn't happen on coincidence. Somebody's watching out for you. And they really do care.




This piece came into mind when I had just found out that the friends I thought I knew so well...I really didn't know at all. They weren't what I thought I had shared my time and life with...and I felt horribly betrayed.
Filled with regret and a feeling of responsibility that I, somehow, had thrust them in the dark direction they were heading in I retreated to an old comfort zone. My manga shelf. As I shuffled through the piles of books a certain one fell out onto my floor, dry and dusty. My Bible. It had opened to a page, and my eyes were opened and a sense of security washed over me like a warm shower after working for hours in the field, and I felt sudden inspiration.

So here I drew the two sides you can see in life, dark and barren...or bright and warm with other people waiting with a warm smile. On the hill it's supposed to be Jesus...but he ended up looking like Simba! Oops!
