I actually think these little ground squirrels are quite gorgeous. I know they are very common and all that... but to me they are proof that even the everyday can be quite beautiful.

Oh yeah, he's definitely a bit on the chubby side--adding to the cuteness factor, as you said!
I live in Illinois, in kind of a rural area, so here they are all over XD

I live in the Netherlands, squirrels are fairly rare here, even in the rural area where I live ^^. Sadly, they're beautiful little critters!

I've never seen one, so cute! I think chipmunks are just the cutest little things, and I have since I was a kid lol!

used to live near a hill that was full of these lil guys. they got so used to humans they'd run around with you, was hilarious to watch

I agree. Just because something's common, doesn't mean it can't be beautiful! People look at me funny when I spend time watching pigeons and seagulls.
