This is Makali, my online self from about 1995 until he became the rather more conventional snow leopard known as Drat. He's painted here as… what I'd call "sufficiently advanced technology" (or maybe post-furry, transhuman, take your pick); among other things, he had optical fibre fur and could project holograms like the butterflies he's currently chasing. Those were my idea, but the particular fur pattern, background and pose were all Rainwing's, and I'm so glad I deferred to her judgement. It's fantastic in every sense.
